I have to agree with Samper fi 83 and Nikki on this one, where is the insult, in being Black., and i would like to add that the beautiful black race is made up of people who have many shades of brown and hair that can be kinky, nappy, straight, soft or course. I could show you pictures that would soon make you understand there is a difference. This argument that blacks come in different shades, sizes and looks maybe somewhat true but it does not apply to certain horn of africans if you are trying to classify them as *******.

Edit: I'm not going to explain what ******* is because you could look that up yourself. There may be controversy of how to define race but people can be given these classifications, generally on how they look. You can just see it.

The African Americans are generally mixed with people from WEST AFRICAN orgin be it recently or far back. West Africans are defined as being ******* due to facial features, skull type, hair type which differentiates from a caucasian.

Anyway, the argument is not about mixed people, it's about indegenious africans. I even said you will have mixed raced people who are lighter and will not look like the stereotypical African. In the United States you may classify mixed as black/******* or whatever but in anthropoligical terms I don't know how they are defined. It depends on what they are mixed with.

Why would a white person care enough to label Eritreans and Ethiopians as other? What's so special about them? They were just honest in how they look to them.

The majority of Eritreans and Ethiopians look much closer to a person from say Yemen than they do to a Nigerian or Botswanan.
