ight so i had natural curly hair, but when i moved to panama all these stupid bytches were doiin relaxers on their hair and i figure why not try it? yeah i was stupid...but my hair is a hot mess now for treating my hair as if it was nappy type..my hair isn't even curly anymore, its just ugly! so just pass the flat iron now and then but i was thinkin of puttin on extension i have no money right now, what should i do!!?

Deal with it or cut your hair short, or cut it short then get extensions.

Don't 'strip' it. It will RUIN it. If it does that to white hair, it will cause black hair even MORE trouble!

Stay away from heat, perms, and dyes for a whole year and try to get one or your friends to put some cornrows in your hair. Get the 3 for 5 packs of hair not the 99 cent one and then keep it braided then when the perm grows out go to the beauty palor and explain what had happened and ask them if it would be OK to get a cut and a curly perm. Relaxers are permanent just like permanent dyes. If you want to go back to your natural hair you have two choices. One, Gradually grow out hair and cut out relaxer a little at a time. Two, Cut your hair really short and start fresh.

Also, when you do grow out your hair. Your new growth is not a true representation of your natural hair. It takes a while for your true natural hair state to grow in.

And, flat ironing/heat straightening over a long period of time alters the texture of your hair as well.
