I had the same problem. I use a little bit a baby powder. It absorbs the oil as well as softening your hair. The only thing is my hair is blond / light brown so it blended in nicely. But if you have darker hair be careful on the amount of baby powder you put in there. Hope this helps you.

I would try just wearing it wavy! It sounds as though the straightening may be stimulating your scalp to produce more oil.

I had the same problem, it's annoying but don't worry, it's fixable!

Okay here's a few tips I suggest:

-Get a leave in conditioner that takes away moisture, and frizz, specified for oily hair. Then leave in the conditioner and comb your hair, then wash it out as you normally would.

-Get a hair treatment, home-made or store bought, these are great, use once a week, get one specified for your type of hair.

-Okay, also you'll need a serum or something of that sort, I use fredrick fekkai glossing cream, but you can find the same quality in other companies too. Put the serum on right before you straighten, and don't forget a heat protecter.

Okay, that's all I know, but it helps. Goodluck!
