My friend needs a perm her hair is afro style, nappy. how do I tell her she needs a perm?????Without hurting her feeling.

Have a girl's out night, watch movies, eat popcorn, look at fashion/hair magazines. (This is your chance to point out or "hint" casually which styles would look good on her.)

Offering to pay for the salon service is always generous and probably would make her more willing to do so.

First of all does she like her hair in an afro. If she likes it that way leaver her alone she may become offensive. If she is accepting let her know that her hair would look cute in a certain style and to get it to loook its best she should relax it first. Personally most people know when they need a perm. I would worry about her more when she has nappy hair and puts a phony pony on over it.

Just suggest it.. Tell her you were thinking it would look really good on her and she should try it sometime.. Don't see why a real friend would get upset over something like that..

Go up to her and casually ask her about what she thinks would be a cute style for u and then suggest," OMG u would look great with a perm! u should get one!" Then if she says naah, ask others (friends) what they think. If she needs one that bad, they'll agree, and the more yeses she gets, the more she'll want to get one. Offer to go with her to get a cut if she isn't sure, then u can always hit the mall afterwards.

To tell a friend she need a perm, just be a friend and tell her that she need to do her hair because people would think she's a dirty person,your not hurting her feelings,telling her the true thing.
