How do I care for human hair extentions?

I have human hair extentions, and everytime i wash them they get extremely nappy and ruined. I have tried Paves products as well as many other high dollar products. What is the best way to wash and maintain the extentions with out ruining them and keep them looking healthy?

Well...first you have to take extra special care of extentions, way more than you would your natural hair. Now if you are washing the extenions and they are out of your hair, it's a bit easier. You'll wash gently and drench with conditioner, and this will help you detangle. Then rinse the conditioner out without scrunching or tangling hair. Now if it is still on your head you have to be really really careful. You will never ever wash hair in circular hand movements, but you'll do everything going back. That way you avoid tangles. You'll dry going straight back, and you'll have less damage to the extentsions. Good Luck!
