It is nearly impossible to straighten naturally curly hair. I tried straightening my sister in laws curly hair and it didn't happen. Have you tried a salon or at least contacting one?

What we have tried in cosmetology class on curly hair is to roll the hair up with big (biggest you can get in your hair) rollers. What this does is makes the curl bigger and not so tight. This could be something you could try.

Its not IMPOSSIBLE to straighten curly hair. it can be straightened temporarily. I have very curly hair. I just blowed my hair out with a blowdryer/pik attachment and then used a flat iron and its straighter than ever. Report It

try "sleek look" by "matrix" its in a bright orange bottle in alomst any solon or hair supply stores, get the shampoo and leave in conditioner, use that and then blow dry it while brushing through it then use a straightener for the stuff thats still curly... or u could always get it chemicaly straightend, or just go to a salon and see wat they recomend!good luck!

HELLLLLLLLOOOO!!!! how long have you been black? of course our hair is courser then other people,but, HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE STRAIGTHEN COMB, OR DARK AND LOVELY PERM ? any hair product used takes maintenance so it will stay straight as long as your natural grow out it's natural roots and so the prem is repeated to the new growth only. go to a salon for black hair and have your hair professionally done. I can't believe you did not know that.

It may take a while,but you should use a straightener with ceramic plates that heat up to make your hair straight.It may take a while but keep at it and eventually,you could get it pretty straight.Even pretty straight is better than nothing!
