Why do black people hate being black?

Ok I have noticed that mixed black people, half white, Hispanic, Asian and etc, get mad when they have black features, like nappy hair, big nose and etc.

EXAMPLE

This half Hispanic half black chick i knew, she hated her hair and nose, she was pretty but still it was sad.

I have also noticed that light skinned black people with wavy hair and pointy noses often look down on black people with nappy hair or big nose.

EXAMPLE

My sister is light skinned with wavy hair and a pointy nose, and she often make fun of my curly hair and big nose.

Please do not post racist comments, because i don't feel like erasing this question.

Why do black people hate being black?

These black people have been brainwashed. But for the most part the majority of us do not have this problem.

Why do black people hate being black?

Who's been lying to you?

Why do black people hate being black?

Because they have adopted the "majority's" idea of beauty.

Same ol...same ol. I don't think most* Black people really care about standards of beauty anymore, it's a bunch of a crap.

Why do black people hate being black?

Black people love their look. I love black men they are exotic beautiful and are so sexy looking. I am straight but I also find black women so very beautiful and I can be sure there are thousands of men in the white community that agree with me. You are a white racist and I am sure you do not know any better I am sure you learned this behavior from your mother and father. Trust me this will keep you down in life. You will not be someone in life with this kind of hatred inside you. Todays smart man and woman are open to others cultures and religions and are so much richer for it. If you want to rise above ignorance you have to make the first step that means stop spewing out racist crap on here. so what do you think?

Why do black people hate being black?

shall we rephrase this question to why do some.........

Because i have light skin and wavy hair and i do not look down on other black people who dont. thats stupid, because i still know that i am black. i just have different skin and hair.

Why do black people hate being black?

LORD, WHY DID YOU MAKE ME BLACK?

Lord, Lord,

Why did You make me Black? Why did You make me someone

the world wants to hold back?

Black is the color of dirty clothes; the color of grimy hands and feet.

Black is the color of darkness; the color of tire-beaten streets.

Why did you give me thick lips, a broad nose and kinky hair?

Why did You make me someone who receives the hatred stare?

Black is the color of a bruised eye when somebody gets hurt.

Black is the color of darkness. Black is the color of dirt.

How come my bone structure's so thick; my hips and cheeks are high?

How come my eyes are brown and not the color of the daylight sky?

Why do people think I'm useless? How come I feel so used?

Why do some people see my skin and think I should be abused?

Lord, I just don't understand; What is it about my skin?

Why do some people want to hate me and not know the person within?

Black is what people are "listed", when others want to keep them away.

Black is the color of shadows cast. Black is the end of the day.

Lord, You know, my own people mistreat me;

and I know this just isn't right. They don't like my hair or the way I look.

They say I'm too dark or too light.

Lord, Don't You think it's time for You to make a change?

Why don't You re-do creation and make everyone the same?

(God answered:)

Why did I make you black? Why did I make you black?

Get off your knees and look around. Tell Me, what do you see?

I didn't make you in the image of darkness. I made you in the Likeness of ME!

I made you the color of coal from which beautiful diamonds are formed.

I made you the color of oil, the black-gold that keeps people warm.

I made you from the rich, dark earth that can grow the food you need.

Your color's the same as the panther's, known for beauty and speed.

Your color's the same as the Black stallion, a majestic animal is he.

I didn't make you in the Image of darkness, I made you in the Likeness of ME!

All the colors of a Heavenly Rainbow can be found throughout every nation; And when all those colors were blended well,

YOU BECAME MY GREATEST CREATION.

Your hair is the texture of lamb's wool, such a humble, little creature is he.

I am the Shepherd who watches them. I am the One who will watch over thee.

You are the color of midnight-sky, I put the stars' glitter in your eyes.

There's a smile hidden behind your pain that's the reason your cheeks are high.

You are the color of dark clouds formed when I send My strongest weather.

I made your lips full so when you kiss the one you love they will remember.

Your stature is strong; your bone structure, thick to withstand the burdens of time.

The reflection you see in the mirror...

The Image looking back at you is MINE!

Why do black people hate being black?

black guys are sexy.

Why do black people hate being black?

ANJEL hit it on the nose!

Why do black people hate being black?

I love being black and I would not want to be any other race. I'm very happy in my own skin. I don't know anyone else that is black that wants to be any other race either.

There are too many people out there that want the features of African Americans. Thick lips, curly hair, big booty, wide hips, etc. The white woman are buying these features including the skin color. We already have it for free, and we're not trying to change it. Only black person I know bleaching his skin is Michael Jackson.

****Dude below me... It's the "Willie Lynch" syndrome that you speak of. It does still effect our black people in this day.

Why do black people hate being black?

the reson is in slavery the white slave masters raped his female slaves, (most of them became pregnet from the rape) when they had the baby and it was light skined for example the child gruw up nomaly a "house *****" as the master called them, a "house *****" is a slave that dusts the house stuff like that, but this light skined black person looks down at the "field ******" becuase the "house *****" thinks hes wihte, and this thinking is still in some (most) light skined black peoples minds ether in the frount or back.

The light skined black people hate the dark skined, and dark skined dislike whites for the hundereds of years of slavey.

Why do black people hate being black?

Well, the NON-unity with black people are undeniably seen!

For some reason, black americans do not support one another and create CLASSES in there own race instead of uplifting the ENTIRE race.

It makes me sad to see that my black people get mad at white people for not understanding our culture, but they are okay with the fact the WE don't understand our own culture and people. They are okay that they don't want to hire each other. All we know is about slavery, which was explained to us to help UNIFY the black community. Instead it only brought hate in our hearts white people and in turn..to ourselves.

We hate white people for what they did and who they are..yet we somehow still have that perception that whiter is better. It seems like we sort of want to be them. We even acquired there dominant attitude. For example, in SOME black schools you will hear of blacks badgering whites for being white, badgering blacks for being light. It is the same form of prejudice and racism in REVERSE. That does not exclude the other parts of the world because it seems this fair complexion syndrome has swept the whole world.

Like I said before, black people need to UNIFY themselves. They seem to feel that if a black person is successful or light..it means they had to pass off as white or act white to get there. We are never proud of each others success until another race points out how much of us are losers. That is when we are quick to point out others we once depised successes.

Back in the day during slavery, Whites used to put a caste system for the color of blacks, When blacks were free they still used to tell the light skinned person to not "mess up her skin with the sun"..making the darker person do all the work outside because theres skin was already tainted. This help create and continue the hate against one another and the division.

Till this day I hear in the black community.

They will say the a dark skinned girl, "Girl you look good! All you need is same bleach to lighten your skin and you'll be the best looking thing"..or "that girl looks like a monkey"..or "he's so black he's purple!"

Altho they are not BLATANTLY telling them they are of lower standard because of there skin..those words encourage dark people to emulate a fairer complexion because BLACKS make them feel bad about there skin..

There are countless forums dedicated to black women trying to find the perfect bleaching cream! Blacks just don't tell each other that they bleach..but alot do!

Why do black people hate being black?

Where have you been, you probably have not seen a third of all the black people, and you make such a statement, There are all kind of people that are not satisfied with them selves, they do all kind of things, trying to change into, for various reasons, into what they thank is better. You can not put this on a whole race.

There are some people passing for different things, 1 too rise in society, 2 make more money, being able to live, freely with the opposite sex. Some people may not like doing these things, but they be thanking of the better good. This is not the majority of the black race. It would be good, if you gave it some though before you make a statement.

I am black , my brother is also black, but when we worked together, we were known as, night and day., I was the night.

My brother went to war, and came back with a German wife, they moved to California, and was passing for white, He did this in order to be able to get places to live.

Why do black people hate being black?

Im mixed with black and white and i dont hate anyone...I can honestly say that I have never looked down on anyone elses race. Being mixed race, i have had my fair share of torment and teasing....especially as a kid by both black and white alike. (i am fair, with very curly hair) it can happen to everyone unfortunately, and is not reserved for one group, race, or ethnicity.

Most often people tend to down others when they are not confident in themselves and want to make themselves feel superior by bringing someone else down.

In all actuallity it probably has very little to do with what you look like, but more how they feel in their own skin....dont let anyone else win...

love being who you are, and care less about others perceptions....YOU are all that matters in that sense...

Why do black people hate being black?

If anything, I see more whites trying to get the black features giving to us by God for a price %26amp; we got it for free. I don't know where you live but I live in So.Cal.

I see white females tan themselves to the point of skin burning(lol)

I see them wanting %26amp; getting lip enhancements

fake boobs

wanting a nice size booty with some shape.

It sucks having a long back. HA! (no booty)

Why do black people hate being black?

I am not sure the example you state is exclusive to black people. I'm sure everyone hates something about their features. Those with curly hair want straight. and those with straight want it curly. I am not black but I think many blacks are born in a difficult situation. Society is hard on them and they must try doubly hard to be taken seriously and succeed. Those that do, do so through tremendous strength and courage. Just my opinion.

Why do black people hate being black?

I love being black. I think that those that feel that way do so because they were raised to believe that black features are bad and non-black features are good. When I look in the mirror I love my nose my color, my butt, my thighs and so does my man! LOL!

Why do black people hate being black?

Boy, I am black and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BEING black. Even the white guys I date love me that way, so no concerns over here, thanks much!

Why do black people hate being black?

HONEY, I AM FULL BLACK AND I AM DAMN PROUD OF IT, I SEE A LOT OF OTHER ETHNICITY'S THAT CAN LOOK *JUST* AS GOOD AS BLACKS, BUT I WOULDN'T CHANGE BEING BLACK FOR NOTHING. MY SKIN COLOR HAS A HISTORY AND HAS A STORY THAT TELLS ALL AND CAN OPEN MORE DOORS FOR ME THAN I COULD EVER IMAGINE. ANY BLACK WHO IS ASHAMED OF THERE RACE IS JUST PLAIN ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. I LOVE MY NATURAL FULL LIPS, ESPECIALLY KNOWING THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO GO GET A LIP JOBS TO MAKE THEM LOOK AS BEAUTIFULL AS THEY ARE. I LOVE MY FULL CURVES AND I LOVE MY NOSE AND THICK HAIR. I LOVE EVERYTHING THAT COMES WITH BEING BLACK, BEING ME.

I KNOW A LOT OF BIRACIAL PEOPLE (BLACK/WHITE MIXTURE) AND ALL OF THEM HAVE BECAME ANGRY AT WHOMEVER JUST FOR CALLING THEM WHITE, BUT MOST OF THE TIME THEY CONSIDER THEMSELVES BLACK, NOT EVEN CONSIDERING THEIR MIXTURE OF RACE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT, BUT THAT'S HOW THEY FEEL.

EVERYBODY LOVE SOME BLACK PEOPLE, ALOT WON'T SAY IT BUT THEY DO. THEY WANT WHAT WE HAVE, WHAT THEY CAN'T HAVE, SO THEY TRY TO MAKE OUR FEATURES, CULTURE,ETC. LOOK AS IF IT IS A NEGATIVE INFLUENCE. BUT WHILE OTHERS INSTEAD OF BRINGING US DOWN, THEY JUST DO THE SMARTEST THING THERE IS TO DO....DIPPIN' THEIR FANGA'S INTO THAT CHOCOLATE BOWL..IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN CAUSE ONCE YOU GO BLACK YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK.

Why do black people hate being black?

OK you're going to get a lot of slack for this question ... BUT ... sad to say it's kinda true.

FOR THE RECORD, I LOVE BEING BLACK ... I'M JAMAICAN AND BLACK AND I LOVE IT!!! (oh and so do my husband love me being black, LOL)

I have met so so many beautiful black ladies that don't like their hair (becuz it's too thick) their nose (they feel it's too wide) their lips (becuz they feel their too full WHAT! FULL LIPS ARE THE SHIZ)

We honestly need to get over it, LOL ... we are some SEXY AZZ LADIES!!!

(oh the other races are pretty also, I just need to represent for my Queens)

Why do black people hate being black?

They feel they've been cheated out of the white features. Their desire is to be white. Even Beyonce hate being black so much that she said she wish she had been born a Latina. She said that she's jealous. You can Google it if you want.

  1. I am a 16 year boy and I am biracial Half Swedish (White) Half Nigerian (Black). I was born in Sweden and grew up there, speak, read, write the language very well. Then I moved to Canada, because for some reason my parents wanted to...and I hate being half Black!!! I hate my fucking black features big nose and fucking wavy and disprportional hair. Those are the things I hate the most like why...why..did I have to be half black...!!! I'm so sick and tired of it, it makes me look ugly. I have been suffering from depression because I hate my black ancestry. I hate who my father is I wish I was pure Swedish like my mother. It pisses me off that I have to go through this everyday, waking up and feeling ugly and ashamed...no wonder people look at me in disgust. Such a disproportional face!!! Especially the big nose on a narrow face, my Swedish face shape...I just fucking hate being Half black and I have been crying because of it...
