can anyone tell me what no-lye means, some perms say no-lye and others say lye, what does it mean, and which one is safer to use?? help please....i have really nappy hair if this helps you answer the question...
What does no-lye mean?
lye is an extremely strong base, it could basically ruin your hair and it burns the skin
What does no-lye mean?
It's a harsh caustic solution that used to be used to make soap (that's why kids didn't want their mouths washed with it, it was very bitter and gross)
Go with the no-lye one defiantly.
What does no-lye mean?
Lye means it has lye, it would be best for your hair to go with no lye, Lye can be toxic!
