im african american, my hair is short, nappy, y u know, how it usually is, but i dont know how to keep it well. what can i do to aid its growth....? and keep it healthy at the same time...?

well i don't know about the whole aid its growth thing. But to keep it healthy keep it moisturized. Sleep with your hair wrapped in a silk or satin scarf and avoid using alot of heat. If you relax it I would say stop that too because the chemicals kill your hair. If you can find one use natural shampoo and conditioners. I love the organix Coconut Milk line. Also stay away from Mineral oil and Petroleum products they stunt the hair's ability to grow and retain moisture.
