My whole families multicultural and i got the light skin and all that jazz but i got the nappy, nappy hair, like lil jon nappy and i just went to hi skool and im tired of the fro cuz all the sexy guys are like oh id holla @ u if u had better hair, so could sumone help me out, and no weave is not an option

Well, I'm African American, 16, and my hair is nearly to my belly button. My advice to you is to not be too obsessed with your hair, sure take pride in your appearence though. Never, ever, ever perm your hair, you never see a girl who has had their hair permed with hair past their shoulders pretty much. I go and get my hair pressed about every 2 1/2 weeks and I don't flat iron or curl it in between. Too much heat will cause your hair to break off. Braiding is also a good option but I'm sure you already know about braiding if you have a fro, just don't let people braid your hair too tight because it will also break it off. Working for me but be warned that long hair means you will most likely get pimples and some degree of bacne where your hair falls. Mine was not bad however, good luck and yes I had really nappy hair until I got it trained. Find someone who is patient with your hair too.

because you have nappy hair, STAY AWAY FROM COMBS! your hair is not made to be comb! use moisturizer not GREASE! Use as little heat as possible! wrap your hair in a loose braid and wear a scarf. it cuts down on the breakage! deep conditoners and oil treatments once a week!

Get a perm and go to a slon to get your hair trimmed every 6 weeks that helps your hair grow and the perm will straighten it.

You need to love yourself %26amp; your hair. There is nothing wrong with nappy hair. Any guy who won't date you because of your hair is not the guy you need to date anyway. You have the hair that god intended for you to have. If you relax it, it will become damaged %26amp; you definetly will not have the long hair you desire.
