When you say nappy I'm going to assume that you mean of dryer, tightly curled or kinky texture.

Genetics and a good flatiron will probably be the ultimate decision unless you decided to chemically process your hair.

Well you have sewed in hair, perms, wigs, and surgery to choose from. I'm not sure about hair surgery, but maybe you can research it on google. Hope you find what your looking for.

All of those are names of perms,use one of them,wash it out,blow dry and straighten your hair,grease that scalp with some "African Pride" grease,then wrap your hair,Unwrap your hair the next morning,Girl then you'll be smooth and silky.!!!!!!!!!!!

I would use a de-frizzer first and then use a ceramic flat iron they are the best, but i have curly hair too so the best kind would be a CHI and you can get them at JC pennys salons for about $60

someone else asked this question earlier and this is what i told them...

my hairs alot like yours. would you rather use a straightening iron or a relaxer/perm? i always used a straightener which was such a huge hassle. BUT i came across a really good one called the "chi". it works like magic. it turned my hour-long straitening session into a 15 min. session! my hair was poker straight for the first time in my life. it was really shiny with no frizz as well! its a little pricey but for the time it saves and the super straight results its worth it in my mind!

The Chi is a ceramic straightening iron. I got mine at Trade Secrets. I saw a "generic" one at Sally's Beauty Supply for half the price. I'm not sure if it works as good, most of Sally's "generic" brand works as well as the name brand that they're imitating...but its worth a try (you could always take it back if it doesn't work). I know for sure that the Chi works like a charm tho.

Be proud of your not knappy, but kinky hair. If you are African American and have kinky hair, it will not be as straight as asian hair. You can make it more manageable by getting a relaxer or using a hotcomb. But is you straighten your hair too much, it will become brittle and break...so like i said. Be proud of what you have.
