Any sensible person wouldn't ask something like that about Christmas. Report her and bring er down I tell ye.

Is this teacher racist and discriminating??

Well, it sounds as if this teacher definitely has issues! Sounds racist! It's definitely NONE of the teacher's business why the two girls do not celebrate Christmas!(By the way, it's NOT the holiday which is important it's the reason behind the season! Yes, I'm a Christian.)

Can't you and other students(maybe along with your parents.. and other teachers!!??) approach The school district in reference to this problem?

because it IS a problem!

Vincent Reagan

Hawkeye

G O C H A R G E R S!!

Is this teacher racist and discriminating??

Yes, I would say that his remarks were very rude and not

in any way appropriate. I don't know if he is racist but

the remarks he made are.

Is this teacher racist and discriminating??

Racism does not exist. Only hatred exist.
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-34374707291516664382010-06-22T23:39:00.002-07:002010-06-22T23:39:40.512-07:00My Hair gets really oily..?
Ok..i have naturally wavy hair..and it gets really oily..and when i straighten it it looks good for like an hour and then the front on my bangs gets nappy looking and stringy..ive tried lots of different shampoos and stuff..and i dont use too much conditionar...what should i do?

My Hair gets really oily..?

I had the same problem. I use a little bit a baby powder. It absorbs the oil as well as softening your hair. The only thing is my hair is blond / light brown so it blended in nicely. But if you have darker hair be careful on the amount of baby powder you put in there. Hope this helps you.

My Hair gets really oily..?

I would try just wearing it wavy! It sounds as though the straightening may be stimulating your scalp to produce more oil.

My Hair gets really oily..?

I had the same problem, it's annoying but don't worry, it's fixable!

Okay here's a few tips I suggest:

-Get a leave in conditioner that takes away moisture, and frizz, specified for oily hair. Then leave in the conditioner and comb your hair, then wash it out as you normally would.

-Get a hair treatment, home-made or store bought, these are great, use once a week, get one specified for your type of hair.

-Okay, also you'll need a serum or something of that sort, I use fredrick fekkai glossing cream, but you can find the same quality in other companies too. Put the serum on right before you straighten, and don't forget a heat protecter.

Okay, that's all I know, but it helps. Goodluck!
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-19268719752788875022010-06-22T23:39:00.001-07:002010-06-22T23:39:24.512-07:00How to staighten short and curly hair?
I have good hair, but it is really curly so it gives off the appeareance that it is nappy?

Is there a way to straighten it, and i don't wanna wait until it gets into a full blown afro(eww) i kinda want it to look like:

http://www.style-hair-magazine.com/image...

but right now it looks like:

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee171...

and

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee171...

How to staighten short and curly hair?

try a relaxer.

Although it is always safer to go to the salon to get things like color and relaxers done they do sell them at stores such as Walgreens, Sallys Beauty Supply, and some other drug stores.

The way to use a relaxer is as follows,

Hair Relaxer

Steps

1Step OneRemove the relaxer within the time limits.

2Step TwoWash your hair with neutralizing shampoo. Use conditioner frequently after relaxing hair.

3Step ThreeUse extra caution when relaxing children's hair. Put hair relaxers out of children's reach to prevent them from playing with the products.

4Step FourGet help with relaxing hair to ensure you cover your head evenly and rinse all of the relaxer from places you can't see.

5Step FivePut petroleum jelly on your scalp before applying relaxer to protect your scalp.

6Step SixStraightening too frequently can damage hair. Get your hairdresser's advice, because different products have different directions. Every six to eight weeks is the norm. Check the product's directions. The frequency of relaxing depends on your hair, especially how fast your hair grows.

Tips %26amp; Warnings

If you do not use both relaxer and hair dye, you are less likely to damage your hair.

Talk to a hairdresser or read product instructions because different relaxers give different directions. Realize that some relaxers should only be used when you do not have die on your hair.

Even "no-lye" relaxer can be harmful if used incorrectly.

Avoid brushing your hair or scratching your head before using a relaxer.

How to staighten short and curly hair?

Go to a Sallys Beauty Supply near you.

%26amp; buy a relaxer kit.

The instructions are on the box.

It permenently straightens your hair.

But when you start growing new hair.

You'll have to relax it again!
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-37462875308158879712010-06-22T23:39:00.000-07:002010-06-22T23:39:09.222-07:00Doesn't IMUS have nappy hair and looks kind of pasty?
So who is Imus calling out when it looks straight out of the homeless shelter. black

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

Wow. I didn't know that being Black was an insult. Thank you for clarifying that. Next time you pass by a mirror, take a long look. My degree isn't in Geography, but, I am certain that Ethiopia is on the continent of Africa.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

Whats the need for racial interrogation, and they do have beautiful curly hair at least the world isnt dull and plain white ,speak for yourself?!

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

Who cares, I am glad you don't consider yourself to be BlacK! I know many Ethiopians who would disagree. By the way are you Ethiopian Princess, with a new account? Like I told you before Davis Duke would still call you a N______r!

Another thing in the bible Moses married a Black women from the land of Kush which is the ancient name for Ethiopia!

Peace Out Mutt!

For the person who said Egyptians are not Africans, the original Egyptians were!

Peace!

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

what are you talking about? My great grandmother came here from Ethiopia in 1947 and would be disgusted at what you are saying. You can't say that all Ethiopians are one way. My grandmother first of all Muslim, yes there are Ethiopians who are Jewish. Semites are a group of people, not a race or culture of people. It seems like you want to be more "caucasoid". Get over it. I am black and that is as far as it goes, my grandmother is Ethiopian and very proud of her culture. She will be 85 this November and tells everyone who asks her that she is from Ethiopia and yes she is African. Last time I looke Ethiopia is in Africa. Are you ashamed of something?

You made a comment saying that Ethiopian hair is not nappy or kinky, neither are ALL blacks. You can't say that you hate being associated one way when you are doing the same.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

PREACH IT.

lol .

she does not want to be white shes saying shes semite which is 100% true. And shes not trying to be white lol ethiopians were called caucasions not too far back so us white people picked them out so we cant say that never hapened. But anyway express hwo you fell if you think this way preach it!Im sure people agree i do.Thanks for the 2pts and also, for the 2nd white guy,she never said they were biracial now did she?she said over 60% had israelian blood do some research on the country and this whole question will make sense gl.AND for the young girl who posted MANY people dont consider them black only online they want to battle.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

i dont give a damn about ethiopeiens u guys live in a fu**ceked up country

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

I have to agree with Samper fi 83 and Nikki on this one, where is the insult, in being Black., and i would like to add that the beautiful black race is made up of people who have many shades of brown and hair that can be kinky, nappy, straight, soft or course. Just because your complexion is fair this does not necessarily mean your not black Africa is and always will be a black country this proven fact about causasoid skull is based on the ideas of the nineteenth century which had the tendency to base their theories on superticious beliefs. If there is any truth then i am yet to come across it. I am sorry to say it but if your were to even consider the word Semite it almost sounds like semi white. All the same you should no who and what you are but there is no shame in being black or white.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

you know what im sick of ? your dumbass...........2 points hater

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

you really need to calm down, and besides you people look black to me, and if somebody doesnt think you arent ethiopian, then at least you know what you are.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

TO TELL U THE TRUTH I DON'T GIVE A RATS AZZZZZZ ABOUT WAT RACE ETHIOPIANS ARE ....BYEBYE

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

Well then can you please explain to me how is it that every single ethiopian person that I know in real life identifies themselves as black... the first time I heard they were not black is on this site??? you can call yourself what you want but the ones that I know personally in the real world would say that you are on some other **** lmao

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

why are only black people posting?you guys are showing her that shes RIGHT.and that only you guys want to claim them so i dont know why you guys are even posting cause your proving her point.you guys are not black people anyways and UH yeah every ethiopian gets mistaken for a indian they look like darker white people fyi.so idk what the hell you all are talking about.i think they want to claim you guys and even egyptians cause you guys have a very rich history.take it easy honey.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

Ethiopians are Black people. Does having Semite blood change the Black blood that flows in your veins? No, it doesn't. My ancestors were Semites and I'm Nigerian. I never tell people of my Hebrew heritage. I have brown skin, different hair, and finer features. People tell me I don't look "African." I still consider myself Black. Why do you want to be white so badly? When you go to Israel they'll discriminate against you and call you Black. I read that when Ethiopians donate blood, no white Isarelis will use it. What does that tell you? You may feel white, but everyone else sees a Black person. Why are you trying so hard to convince the world? Will you do this for the rest of your life? It gets tiring.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

were going to get this realer than i dont know what right now my father is ethiopian he always told me that they were black africans theres mixed ethiopians and pure ethiopians skin so black that it almost look blue. trust me every ethiopian are not like you most ethiopians do have brown skin and kinky hair who do you think your fooling lady? no ones trying to call you *****. you have just as much black african in your vains if not more as i do. if you cant deal with that well life goes on.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

What a delusional individual. It's OBVIOUS you're a mixed people. Most people looking at you would know you're Black. If that bothers you, deal with it.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

Every person is different and call themselves whatever they please. And actually I have heard and seen Ethiopians call themselves black; maybe you need to get over it

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

Im not the other dina im an american who shares the same name as her.I agree with kelsey growing up nobody ever calledthem black but online they make a big deal out of it. She never said im white so stop jumping on the poor girl.Well i dont know about your race though i just disagree about them pouncing on you like this. they dont even know about what your talking about they add extra crap in there.she never said im white people.she doesnt need to face anything.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

This whole thread goes to show how dumb americans are black white and everything inbetween...

i hear u on some levels and sympathize, but on another level i think i'm hearing something else... let me go out on a limb and explain myself...

strictly on the facts, yes semitic is not *******, while both are african... africa is a mighty big place last time i took a look...

but u are in america where facts don't mean anything, and white rascist as*ho*es are around every corner, and they will call u n!!!!! etc etc etc...

but, for myself, a jew from brooklyn, i get a little frustrated when some folks want to see me and adolf hitler as the same people -- we're both white!

so yeah, u have pride in your culture, and get pissed when people want to act like u and them are the same just because your skin tones are similar in the american spectrum...

and i'll go way out on a limb here -- many black folks here -- i think -- belittle themselves and their own culture when they grab onto the upper egyptian kingdom, or ethiopian etc... as if there weren't significant accomplishments south of the sahara-- timbuktu, or the ghanian empire, or obviously the nubians and the upper egyptian empire (i dont have a degree in african history so that's about as much as i do know)...

BUT-- here is where i lose u... honestly i feel like i'm hearing some bourgeoisie bul!sh!t in disguise...

while i know i'm not anglo-saxon, i can't exactly blame a black person for seeing white and thinking white... cause the reality is in america, white folks have done heinous things to black people, and sadly that includes white jews (some)...

and what i'm ultimately trying to say is that while u may not be 'black' -- u live in america where there is a significant black population that has been and still is at war for their survival-- and here u will be seen as black by all but the most sophisticated... so are u just going to go to the trendy little club and pretend the world around u doesn't exist?

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

YEAH!!! Tell 'em like it is honey!!! I love it when people point out stuff like this. I don't feel so alone when pointing out similar things now, like how Egyptians are NOT Africans either... some people are really thick and just ... don't ... get it. Egypt and ETHIOPIA are their OWN COUNTRYS.

Mexico and Canada are on the north American continent, but the people are not Americans.

peace!

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

You GUYS ethiopians DO have caucasoid skulls, thats not alie shes not seperating herself from anything shes telling it how it is.Egyptians are not black there only african nikki your whle post is just dumb in my opinion helina is not wanting to be white shes saying shes SEMITE which is a race in my category they all have the same ancestors. Why are you guys so thick headed? If you guys dont care then just leave .jaws u confused ethiopia for somalia.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

Why is it only black americans posting?they do have cauasoid skulls she does not wanna be white cause she said they have caucasoid skulls thats just a plain fact.israelians are not white also.I agree with the other girl PREACH IT.

THIS IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS:

They are African by location but they are not *******(thats a race accoring the US cenus).

Go to any source be it wikipedia, or a library and read what they say specifically on the Habesha of Eritrea and Ethiopia and you will see why people say they are not 'black'.

from Sabaens - ancient semetic arabs and Aksumites - ancient semitic people from the kingdom of Aksum.

People are arguing not so much on their skin colour but their facial features, skulls and hair styles. Last time I checked the majority if not all africans from west, south and central have coarse/kinky hair.

The Eritreans and Ethiopian have big, loose curly hair or the women have silky hair.

They are blatantly not white - lol ,but they are not *******.

Why would alot of white people I've met and on yahoo answers think they are not black in how they look.

Simply because they don't.

I could show you pictures that would soon make you understand there is a difference. This argument that blacks come in different shades, sizes and looks maybe somewhat true but it does not apply to certain horn of africans if you are trying to classify them as *******.

Edit: I'm not going to explain what ******* is because you could look that up yourself. There may be controversy of how to define race but people can be given these classifications, generally on how they look. You can just see it.

The African Americans are generally mixed with people from WEST AFRICAN orgin be it recently or far back. West Africans are defined as being ******* due to facial features, skull type, hair type which differentiates from a caucasian.

Anyway, the argument is not about mixed people, it's about indegenious africans. I even said you will have mixed raced people who are lighter and will not look like the stereotypical African. In the United States you may classify mixed as black/******* or whatever but in anthropoligical terms I don't know how they are defined. It depends on what they are mixed with.

Why would a white person care enough to label Eritreans and Ethiopians as other? What's so special about them? They were just honest in how they look to them.

The majority of Eritreans and Ethiopians look much closer to a person from say Yemen than they do to a Nigerian or Botswanan.

Why do you people care so much about ethiopian peoples race?were semite not black deal with it.?

I lvie in israel and do_in_infinity or whatever you are WRONG!

We now have accepted ethiopians as our brothers and sisters so go ******* somewhere with that bullshit we do use there blood they are VERY RESPECTED here in israel dont believe everything you hear that happened long ago. im disgusted by you making those false allegations on my country ok i know you want them to be black like you but dont go making up ****.Long time ago we were suspicious but a dna has confirmed they are our people and we all welcome them and now ethiopians and israelians are uniting, when we were in that bloody fight with lebanon ethiopians living in israel helped us out alot they are good peoplee.

AND HELL NO THEY ARE NOT ***** PEOPLE,WHO THE HELL SAID THAT !YOU GUYS ARE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS YOU ARE SEMITES LIKE US.HELINA DONT EVEN PAY ATTENTION TO THEM YOU KNOW EVERYBODY STOPS YOU AND SAYS ARE YOU INDIAN YOU GUYS ARE NEVER LOOKED UPON AS BLACK IN THE REAL WORLD.IM ENRAGED BY THESE STUPID ANSWERS YOU RECIEVED.YOU ARE NEVER EVER BLACK.

shalom.
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-80402375820918589662010-06-22T23:38:00.001-07:002010-06-22T23:38:36.752-07:00I dont know what to do with my wavy hair?
My hair is wavy, medium long, layered, color damaged, it tangles and it gets nappy, split ends, and it falls a lot and brakes too, in betwen thick and thin and in betwen dry and oily.

to much moist makes my hair fall i want something that will make my hair strong and that it will keep my wayves in place nice and natural and that it will make my hair manageble. my goal is to have healthy hair, healp please?????????

What can i use in my hair to make it helthy and nice looking?

And how often should i wash it? I wash my hair every other day and it doesnt't get too oily or dirty. i personally use Tresseme shampoo for split end protection but Tresseme is an awesome hair care product line. To keep it from frizzing i use Proclaim Glossing Polish you can get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. Just don't damage it anymore wait a little while til you decide to dye it again. And don't straighten it for a while either. Your hair should be healthy in no time just be sure to fine the right product to get it back to it's normal stage. good luck!
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-77712869490207152542010-06-22T23:38:00.000-07:002010-06-22T23:38:04.434-07:00I have very long hair?
i have long hiar (i think up to waist or longer) and i want to do new style with it but it gets to messy and nappy so what can i do to just make it look nice without anything that makes my hair messy or out of place i jsut want a quick nice hair do can you help me?

I have very long hair?

long hair is nice, i got long hair to.

do curls big ones colour it, u will look nice

I have very long hair?

You need to cut your hair - not like shave your head or anything, but once it gets that long it usually does not look very good, and has no shape. Plus, as I'm sure you know, it's too much work to take care of.

I have very long hair?

flip ur hair down and add gel, mousse, hairspray and blowdry....it makes it curly and cute...and no need to do ne thing else with it....diffusers are inexpensive and that way u can keep ur long hair...if u have problems with it ratting up use the little kids detangler after u get out of the shower it will make it soft and not tangly all day long...good luck

I have very long hair?

I have the same curly hair when its long it looks like a mop. Have it layered so it dries easily as a haircut. Some top and side layers shorter than your bottom hair.

I have very long hair?

experiment with it. one day when you have time, keep playing around with different hair supplies and see what you can do. try braids, pull ups, curls, straitenings, bangs, there's no end to what you can do.

I have very long hair?

Who gives a Crap??????????????

I have very long hair?

I agree you need to cut some off. At least the dead ends, then may be put some medium to long layer in it so that you can get some volume on the top. If you hair feels very thin then I would add some color to it. It doesn't have to be a color they sell this stuff that's just a gloss, but it works the same way color does.
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-42781742854919789772010-06-22T23:37:00.003-07:002010-06-22T23:37:49.289-07:00How to grow longer hair?
I a young black girl who had a thick head full of hair as a child, but when I ignored it during those tomboy pre-teen years, it got tangled and nappy and I must have lost nearly an inch or two in length. Now that I'm a teen, is there anything I can do to get back my thick fluffy hair? Us black girls have it extra hard because our hair grows so slowly... I'm open to any and ALL suggestions please!

How to grow longer hair?

You can do several things to help hair growth. The best is to take some vitamin E or increase vitamin E in your diet. Also scalp massage, getting regular trims, and some people swear by using horse shampoo and conditioner (gives you silky and shiney hair).

How to grow longer hair?

I supposedly heard that braiding your hair when you go to sleep at night helps it to grow faster, but I don't know if your hair is long enough to braid... and I also heard that putting wool ribbons into those braids help too. But who knows if it's true, huh? Doesn't hurt to try, though.

How to grow longer hair?

hmm try asking in a hair salon or get extensions!!

How to grow longer hair?

well go to the hair dresser like every two weeks and have them treat it for you.

How to grow longer hair?

If u don't already use them use ONLY salon exclusive shampoos and products. Trust me u will notice the difference in your hair.

How to grow longer hair?

Trust me, it just takes patience

How to grow longer hair?

*olive oil

*keep it clean and healthy

*thats all i got

How to grow longer hair?

I don't think that your hair grows more slowly as much as it just breaks really easily! Use a good conditioner every day and a deeper treatment once a week. Your may also be able to get a more intense in-salon treatment to prevent breakage. Also, get trims every 6-8 weeks: ask your salon to trim off as little as possible just so your ends don't split and cause more breakage. Try sleeping with your hair wrapped in a silky scarf or against a silky pillow, this is also better for your hair... and try not to brush it while it's wet! If you regularly straighten your hair, use the lowest temperature that works. Good luck!

How to grow longer hair?

Just keep it healthy. And trim it at least every three months to get rid of split ends. Use a good volumizing shampoo and conditioner(not just a cheapo department store brand), and it will grow. Everyone's hair grows slowly; but if you keep it healthy, it'll grow faster. And I know it sounds weird, keep it trimmed and it'll grow faster, my hubby's always asked the same question, but your hair gets split ends after a while; this makes the hair frizz out a bit, dry out easier, makes that strand of hair a bit unhealthier; and when you have quite a few like that; then you have quite a few strands of hair that won't grow as quickly. So go to a proper hairstylist and have them trim even just half an inch off of it every three months, it'll stay healthy and grow nice and thinck like it used to be.

How to grow longer hair?

it takes patience but trimming it every 3 months helps and theres these brushes with special bristles it helps too.
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-73517308536972272572010-06-22T23:37:00.002-07:002010-06-22T23:37:32.444-07:00椹?椹?椹碬HAT EXACTLY IS "NAPPY HAiR"?椹?椹?
i think more black people have this hair type..............its kinda puffy and hard to brush and dry

椹?椹?椹碬HAT EXACTLY IS "NAPPY HAiR"?椹?椹?

hair that is kinda hard to brush through or comb through and it's rough.

椹?椹?椹碬HAT EXACTLY IS "NAPPY HAiR"?椹?椹?

im 85% black and 15% puerto racian i have black peole hair texture ok nappy hair is when black gir hair get a ll puffy and hard to comb thats when us blck girls get a perm so our hair and bee smooth and slikly and when black girls get their hair wet it egt nappy that why never get a black girls hair wet u will mess up her perm that is excaly what nappy means
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-63952371413036503052010-06-22T23:37:00.001-07:002010-06-22T23:37:16.067-07:00I need hair help...?
i have very nice hair dark black and between curly and waves. im mixed black and asian. when i straighten my hair the heat makes it curl up and when i where is down and natural is gets nappy kinda. any suggestions.

I need hair help...?

THAT IS EXCATLY HOW MY HAIR IS!

First I blow try and brush it out, as striaght as I can.

Next I use this stuff in a orange bottle.

Then I straighten it!

and its perfect!

(for the orange bottle stuff, you should look for something at the store that says "perfect for curly hair!" or something like that.)

Good Luck! :D

I need hair help...?

it sounds pretty when its wavy and curly. mine is the same way. when i straighten it to much it starts to surl to much, so my solution is... i dont straighten it! i leave mine curly

I need hair help...?

shampoo and condition ur hair, than brush it when ur in the shower. when u get out towel dry ur hair. after put some moose in ur har and scrunch it. dont brush ur hair after u towel dry ur hair. if this doesnt work on ur hair than after u towel dry it, lightly use a curling iron to ur hair and than moose it(dont scunch).

hope i helped
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-76147152471162645372010-06-22T23:37:00.000-07:002010-06-22T23:37:00.879-07:00Want natural hair back!?
AYt! so i origanally had hair up to my waist very long and thick. It was manageable like a wavy/nappy but very beautiful and healthy. I went through the permed stage... did it... regret it... had to cut my hair and stuff! CRAZY! now its sooooooooo damaged and i want to cut it all off like up to eva pigford's hair. my regrowth is weird tho... its like its growing faster on one side of my hair. So my regrowth is wavier on one side. I also wnat to use like a texturizer to make my hair like a cute kinda curly.wavy way. Any suggetsions?

Want natural hair back!?

Don't cut your hair too short and don't use a texturizer. Your hair became damaged from using chemicals in the first place and if you start using perming it again, you will have to keep on doing it. Just leave it natural. And don't cut it so short that you can't pull it back or put it up. Your hair will grow faster if you pull it back and leave it alone because this will protect your ends. Don't heat-style your hair (no curling irons or blow dryers). Condition and moisturize your hair A LOT, take vitamins, drink water, and just leave it alone. It will grow back quickly. Do not texturize it!

Want natural hair back!?

Take pictures of the cute style you want and bring them in to your stylist. If your hair is that damaged, you can't "fix it". You simply have to cut it off and start over. There are certain hair masks you can use, as well as colesterol, but if your hair is "sooooooo damaged", it is too late to fix it. If you go have your hair cut, you should notice that your growth pattern will go back to normal after a short while. Best of luck!!

Want natural hair back!?

If you want your hair to grow back stay away from the chemicals! Find a stylist you can naturally maintain your hair they will help your hair grow really fast.

Want natural hair back!?

motions Critical Repair and Protection (CPR) shampoo and conditioner to steam

Want natural hair back!?

Request a vitamin C treatment at the salon. Be aware that if your hair is dyed, it will neutralize the color! The vitamin C treatment does wonders though for restoring your hair and repairing it. I wish you would not have cut it, this would have been a journey of maybe several treatments, internal intake of vitamins, a trim every two to three weeks, and constant use of conditioners, but your hair would have been back to normal in just a month or two.
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-34183007399169279082010-06-22T23:36:00.002-07:002010-06-22T23:36:44.563-07:00Straight Hair Help! PLEASE!(pictures)?

I can't recommend enough the book "Curly Girl" - the care and feeding of curly hair.

It's informative and funny, with lots of great homemade treatments for your hair.

Straight Hair Help! PLEASE!(pictures)?

try dove theropy it works great and makes it smooth

Straight Hair Help! PLEASE!(pictures)?

as stupid as it sounds, try that brush that spins. i'm so sorry i can't remember the name. but google "hair straightening brush". my friend bought it from the infomercial and she has the absolute WORST hair to deal with. it takes a while to do, but there are no chemicals or anything like that. just brush through your dry hair and it really really works. for your hair i'd say it would take about an hour or so but you'd only have to do it a couple times a week.

good luck!

oh and ps, it makes your hair look and FEEL silky.

Straight Hair Help! PLEASE!(pictures)?

Brush it and wet it. A LOT.

Straight Hair Help! PLEASE!(pictures)?

Try Tresseme' the Gelatin kind or the Silk and protien kind. I us eit and i have wonderful hair. Or try the Grnier Sleek and shine. It really works. It wroked for me.

Straight Hair Help! PLEASE!(pictures)?

try pantene. the one for women of color though since your hair is nappy and also get the cream and apply it while your hair is wet then blow dry it. it should make it soft and smooth but if it doesnt then you need a miracle gurl!

Straight Hair Help! PLEASE!(pictures)?

wow, your hair looks a lot like my hair! it gets really poofy when you try to straighten it, right? well, i would try using some heaving conditioners like john frieda and pantene pro-v. using three step systems (like, shampoo, conditioner and serum) help to condition your hair to make it softer and have less flyaways when you straighten it. i like to blow dry my hair first, and then straighten it with a ceramic flat iron on the highest heat setting. but i think you should also embrace your hair. people tell me that they like my wavy hair because it looks natural and compliments me. you have your own unique hair, and it's not always going to look like those girls who were born with natural straight hair! once you accept this fact, you'll find styles that will match your hair and you'll start to love your hair. hope my advice helped.

Straight Hair Help! PLEASE!(pictures)?

your hair is broken and damaged. you should AVOID relaxers and straighteners until your hair grows back healthy. embrace the curly hair for a few months.

Straight Hair Help! PLEASE!(pictures)?

TRY USING CONAIR STRAIGHTENER WITH TURBO HEAT IT WORKS MIRACLES ON ANY KIND OV HAIR AND IT DOESNT DAMAGE YOUR HAIR THAT MUCH! I have done this for a few years, but it use to be longer. Anyway I am going on a cruise in November, and I'm not going to want to straighten it everyday then get in the water for it to get nappy. So would the easier thing be to let it grow out as much as it will or just cut it off now and get to a hairstyle that I like...I don't mind cutting it off. Right now with my hair not straightened it's just wavy, and I don't really like it that much...I can put it up a little but have to put a lot of bobby pins in it to keep it from falling. I just want it to look cute on the cruise, but not too fixed...any suggestions??

Hair question---?

If you find a style that you like then I would say get it cut, by the time November comes around it will have grown out a lot and will be even cutier. I didn't flat iron mine everyday either when I was on a cruise, but I had fun scrunching and pinning it up. You can also use a few different products to help with the curls....
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-51421380021908179932010-06-22T23:35:00.002-07:002010-06-22T23:35:41.159-07:00Im a boy with waves if i grow my hair out will it become nappy?
i got a good grade of hair curly and wavy

Im a boy with waves if i grow my hair out will it become nappy?

"Good hair"...wow. But if a man dont he might forget where he came from. And cant approach the place Im tryin' to go, a wise man wont. I aint at the top yet, but Im so damn close. My poem is honest, so modest, I cant boost. Fast food, I cant coup. I took cooking class for granted, cause I couldnt imagine. These girls cant cook, they so into fashion. I like them cause Im so into passion. But man when I was growin' up my mom was multi taskin'. She was fryin' chicken while holdin' the phone, Between her face and her shoulder, and smokin a bone. Combing my sisters her hair she think she so grown. But her hair was so nappy it broke the comb. I wanted a change so i thought: why not this kind of hair? i have always loved the styles and im about half asian, so why not. Can Anybody help me?

How to get "Asian Hair"?

You could get your hair chemically straightened. Your best bet would be japanese straightening because it makes the hair as straight as possible and also flat. It is very expensive, but it wouldn't be that bad since you have pretty short hair.

How to get "Asian Hair"?

umm i dunno if you can, but try straightening your hair??? It might help

How to get "Asian Hair"?

The only way to achieve this look is to relaxer/straightener..I wouldn't because if it is not natural..it may just ruin your hair..work with what you have..all natural is hott..

How to get "Asian Hair"?

U can have it chemically straitned,I dont think that wil give you that asian look%26gt;%26gt;better go for a wig%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;Toppers in Flushing MI. the best in hair pieces 8106594325%26gt;%26gt; or look in your local yellow pages%26gt;John

How to get "Asian Hair"?

Go to a hair salon--these days they have things that will straighten hair without damaging the hair (did you really think that all those hip hop women all had beautiful straight hair naturally?). They'll be able to tell you how to keep it soft too.

How to get "Asian Hair"?

Find a salon that does Japanese thermal hair straighting

or get it relaxed.

just watch out relaxing is not always good for u.

(it'll keep your hair straight for about 6-9 months)

How to get "Asian Hair"?

asian hair cool go for i dont see the reason not to

How to get "Asian Hair"?

umm...go to youtube, and type in how to do asian hair, and click the one by someone called something like g1
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-61689804517907101162010-06-22T23:34:00.001-07:002010-06-22T23:34:20.527-07:00What does Nappy Hair Hoe Mean ?
Joke about someone's appearance. Me, my sister and my friend all have bootys and white guys love it.

But anyways, some white guys do like black girls. I'm not talking about the wiggers, i mean the attractive, smart, successful ones. I would be careful on dating white guyy though.. alot of them might just use you, because most would never marryh a black girl.

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

i disagree. im a very petite, slim black girl and white guys luv it. here in the u.k alot of proffesional white guys marry black women, its not un common.just belive in your self and what u want and you will achieve. Report It

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

really it wouldn't matter..

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

what does it matter any race is equally beautiful!!!!

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

Hair doesn't matter. It's the person.

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

it depends on your personality.

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

You sound like a really nice, smart girl. Just be patient and you will see that the right guys will soon start asking you out.

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

it is not about race. Even you state it with what you will not date. It is a matter of an individual meeting someone with in their boundaries. If two people are compatible, what the hell does race have to do with it?

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

I'm white. My lady is black. We've been together for quite a while, now. It's not a question of whether or not I like black girls. This is just the way things turned out. We met, liked each other, fell in love. That simple.

If I think about it, my philosophy is non-descrimination. Race or age doesn't matter to me. It's all in the personality and whether or not we can get along together. Of course attractiveness matters. Something has to bring us close enough together to get to know each other.

Be warned, there are some who will not be attracted to you because of your race. That's a fact we just can't get around, no matter how much we try. There are those who will not like you because you are dating someone of another race. That's just another bit of reality.

Relax. If you are in the least bit attractive, and you are nice to be around, then there is a white guy somewhere that will be interested in you. If you have the courage to get close to them, things will work out. If you don't have the courage to be a little bit forward, you stand a chance of losing out. It's all your choice.

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

haha...wow you seem like you are trying to be as little black as possible...like how you had to let everybody know that your hair isn't nappy or that your not fat...those are typical stereotype's about black people..im surprised you didnt say i dont eat watermelon...be proud of who you are, love see's no color..you kow i got made fun of a lot when i was in school because my mom is all black but my dad is black among many other things so i ended up coming out really light skinned not even looking black...and even though my hair is long, it's pretty nappy...haha man what i would give to fit in with my people..you just don't know..

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

I think all guys are interested in girls regardless of there color. I have never dated a black girl ,am I interested in doing so...yes. For me I assume black girls would not be interested so I don't even try. We {white guys} generally aren't as forward as black guys and handle rejection differently. Perhaps it is because of stereotypes, but not like you are thinking. I personaaly would love it if a hot black woman was interested in me.....so my advise is treat them like any other guy and just go up to them and start a conversation. Good luck.

Do white guys like black girls?wut do u think of black girl hair?WHITE GUYS ONLY!閳?

I'm a tall white male, and i'm gonna be honest, i'm just not attracted to blacks girls at all.
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-9461826729596312262010-06-22T23:33:00.000-07:002010-06-22T23:33:21.259-07:00Question about African American hair....?
I just came out of the shower from washing my hair and I'm feelin lazy... Is it ok to let my hair air dry? Lots of black girls say not to but why? Will my hair break? I'm half black half white, but trust me- I have some nappy hair! lol

Question about African American hair....?

No if you blow dry it all the time that will make your hair break and get all dried out, after you shampoo your hair you should deep condition it with a really good moisturizer and left it sit for about 10 to 15 Min's or more then rinse out with warm water, towel dry it grease your scalp comb and brush your hair out and put it up in a pony tail Brade it and let it dry for the night. Also if you wanna dry your hair go buy a sit under dryer at sally's they are cheap, they are like $40 it's way better then blow drying trust me, and you should also get a hott comb and straighting it out when your hair is dry or if you don't know how get some one to do it for you this will help you al ot . even try going to the salon ever 2 weeks they will take good care of your hair, I suggest you buy moisturizes at Sally's hair store. God bless. One more thing when you let the conditioner sit get a plastic cap and put it over your head and let it sit while you clean or cook or watch TV and then it will be time to rinse it out. their is this shampoo and conditioner called Silk Elements, or PANTENE Pro- V Relaxed%26amp; Natural for women of color, their is this deep conditioner that I use called"tea tree" you can buy any one you want but use this after you shampoo and condition your hair and then let it sit and rinse out good luck. P.S. you can find alll those products at Sally's and ask for black hair treatment.

Question about African American hair....?

Itll just be helly nappy..put a hot comb 2 dat shyt and u good

Question about African American hair....?

It's always better to let your hair air dry. Putting heat on it can damage it so it is better to stay away from blow dryers and stuff. Heat can break you hair, air does nothing to it.

Question about African American hair....?

Well this is my perspective I have been letting my hair air dry for years and I have no problem with breakage or anything of that nature the only problem is is that if you wanted to style your hair it wont last very long I have worked in Cosmetology for 5 years and haven't quit had any problems with air drying if anything blow drying does cause over drying or some form of breakage as leaving it wet try to put some form of leave in conditioner that will benefit u more hope this helps

Question about African American hair....?

Moisture will cause African American hair to become "tighter" (kinkier).

Question about African American hair....?

Wash it, condition it, spray it with a kiddie detangler, and then let it air dry. You may even wanna add some hair gel to keep the puffiness down.

I agree, too much heat can ruin it.

Question about African American hair....?

I never blow dry my hair let it air dry

Question about African American hair....?

Use detangler and blow dry it straight

Question about African American hair....?

it depends on the texture.

Question about African American hair....?

Yes it's ok i'm mixed aswell. You should use some type of oil to help keep it moist and try brushing alot more those days you don't want to style it. There's some great brushing tecniques in this book at http://how2getwaves.com my friends use it and thier hair stays looking healthy.
Goharahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10544902763995567555noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833966922115764026.post-49564171595295703962010-06-22T23:32:00.001-07:002010-06-22T23:32:48.973-07:00Garnier Fructis wih my hair?
I am a black male with naturally poofy, or "nappy" hair. I have straightened my hair using chemical relaxers and would like to know if the Garnier products work well with my hair?

I am told that certain shampoos, conditioners, and etc. will "strip the perm (relaxer) out", meaning that my hair will become poofy and damaged afterwards.
